What We Do
Our goal is to achieve optimum performance and prepare each horse for future success.
We are based within a busy farm environment and so are constantly enhancing the horses' positive experiences of the world.
Holly personally works with each youngster, ensuring they are given the opportunity to flourish at their own pace.
About Us
About Us
Holly Bailey owns and runs Applemore, located in South Hampshire. Holly's love of horses began at the age of three. After leaving school she pursued her passion to work with horses and throughout her career, has worked for some highly regarded professionals within the showjumping and racing industries.
During this time she was actively involved in the remedial training of some very challenging horses, where she developed her knowledge and understanding of horse behaviour.
Holly then returned to education and obtained a Foundation Degree in Childhood Studies and worked as a Special Needs Teacher in schools whilst starting her own family.
Being presented with the opportunity to invest in a property and develop her own yard and training facility, Holly now has an established business of her own, starting young horses supported by clients and owners
The Team
The Team
Professionally, Holly is supported by Nina Probert who is experienced with youngstock and is BHS Level 3 qualified. Nina has a great feel and relaxed demeanour with the babies, and can always be relied upon to hold the fort on show days.
Val & Ronnie
"Holly's patience and resilience have been highly effective in Ronnie's training."
Clients' Experiences
"Holly continues to school Ronnie and has jumped him up to newcomers."
"It's been a joy to have given Ronnie such a positive start in life and invaluable for me to be involved ."
Anita & Douglas
"Holly devised a programme to help me keep Douglas focused on me and what I was asking him to do. Her effective groundwork coaching in the round pen made me focus my posture and how to gain his respect.
Holly's techniques enabled me to tackle the specific difficulty I have had in loading Douglas. Through her methodical approach and teaching, I am now able to load him with ease and without stress!"
